Uniform 2022 onwards

The governing body of Iveshead School expect all students in all years to conform to the school dress code. The Policy and detailed guidance is available to view here.

Compulsory Items

Students in Years 7 to 11:

  • Black ‘school’ blazer with the Iveshead School logo on the front chest pocket.

  • Iveshead School clip-on tie

  • White ‘school’ shirt with a formal collar (short, long or ¾ length sleeves are acceptable)

  • Black school trousers that are formal, loose fitting and tailored (trousers should not be skinny or tight fitting)

OR

  • Pleated, black, school skirt (this DOES NOT include pencil, tube type jersey or stretchy type lycra skirts or skater style skirts) Skirts must be knee length.  Examples of acceptable skirts can be viewed here.  

OR

  • Black school shorts that are formal and tailored (May-September)

  • Plain black, flat, school appropriate, shoes.

  • Black or natural tights or black socks

Optional Items

  • A plain white t-shirt or vest may be worn under shirts.

  • Black knitted ‘v-neck’ jumper without logos or brands

Compulsory Items – PE Uniform

Students in Years 7 to 11 

  • Purple ‘school’ PE top with the Iveshead School logo on the front

  • Black ‘sports appropriate’ shorts, tracksuit bottoms or exercise leggings

  • Black or white ‘sports appropriate’ socks

  • Sports appropriate footwear including trainers (these must be different to shoes worn in other lessons)Further information on expectations concerning PE can be viewed here.

Optional Items

  • Black hooded sweatshirt with the Iveshead School logo on the front

  • Plain black sweatshirt or hooded sweatshirt  (worn over purple ‘school’ PE top)


Personal appearance

  • Hair should be natural in colour with no extremes of style.

  • Make-up should be minimal and natural in appearance.

  • False nails(including acrylics) are not allowed and any polish must be natural in appearance.

  • False eyelashes are not allowed

  • Students may wear one pair of stud type earrings (one in each ear).

  • A charity/fund-raising wristband may be worn to show support for a chosen  charity during their fund-raising week.

  • Earrings must be removed for PE (a retainer may be worn)
